| REALITY THERAPY
is the method of counselling that: |
||
| Dr. Glasser has been teaching
since 1965. Reality therapy is firmly grounded in Choice Theory
and its successful application is
dependent on a strong understanding of choice
theory. This process helps
people to make changes in their lives and also assists others to effect changes
in their own behaviours. It helps us to understand why we are doing what
we 'do' and can be used in a variety of settings: working in business,
counselling and clinical counselling, social services, correctional services,
classrooms and families. Reality therapy training is available to anyone by beginning with the first step and registering for a Basic Intensive Training session through Jean at jeanseville@hotmail.com
There are two essential components to the process. The first is to create an environment conducive to change. The second is to employ procedures within that environment that lead a person to change his/her behaviour. The art of using the reality therapy approach is to weave these two components together in ways that lead a person to evaluate his/her life and make more effective choices. Why not sponsor one by contacting Jean through jeanseville@hotmail.com In addition, please check out our Choice Culture group now on Facebook.
